The Arts: Les années Joué
Three days to take a step back and reflect on life… “Histoire d’en rire” thrilled audiences in 2026! In all, some 40 troupes took to the city streets with more than 90 free performances. Clowns, comedic characters, and acrobats explored humor in all its forms, from the most heartwarming to the most absurd.
The festival’s highlight: the aerial performance “Hors ligne” on Saturday evening at Mandela Square. The 2027 lineup is coming soon!

Moorea festival
Electronic Music: Moorea Festival
At the foot of the 15th-century Château de Grillemont, international DJs will be behind the decks for the 4th edition of the Moorea Festival. To extend the experience, a VIP area, a lively campground with a nightclub, and a nature area equipped with teepees and cabins invite you to enjoy the festival day and night.

La Grange de Meslay
Classical: La Grange de Meslay
Founded by the renowned Ukrainian pianist Sviatoslav Richter, this festival brings together the world's greatest classical musicians. Relaxation, lunch on the grass and virtuosity are the watchwords of this festival. The musicians will be playing at the prestigious Grange de Meslay, as well as ‘outside the walls’ in Tours and around.

The delicate touch: '37° à l'ombre'
In the intimate setting of the Cloître de la Psalette, nestling in the heart of Tours' Saint-Gatien cathedral, the '37° à l'ombre' festival offers a programme of jazz and classical music. The line-up includes professionals in the genre, as well as young talent in training at the Tours Conservatoire.

Terres du Son Festival
Not to be missed: Terres du Son
The biggest music festival in Touraine will return in July 2027 with a lineup to be proud of! In the heart of the Domaine de Candé, at the foot of the castle, the headliners are lining up (2026 artists: Julien Doré, Kungs, Rilès, Superbus, Ofenbach, and more), all in a spirit of eco-responsibility and conviviality. An event that has won the hearts of Touraine residents and visitors from all over France.

The social one : L’Été Indien
Who said that the start of the school year meant the end of summer fun? The L’Été Indien festival is extending the season into September in Langeais. An eclectic and local lineup, ranging from rock to electronic music and cumbia, a craft market, shows for young audiences, a wellness booth with massages and glitter, and best of all, super affordable tickets starting at €5.

At the comedy club
Stand-up comedy is all the rage! To get your zygomatic muscles in shape, head to Le Jouvenceau, a tapas bar where artists take to the microphone for 1 hour every Friday and Saturday from September to June. Another show not to be missed is that of Pinguette Comedy Club, a travelling troupe that takes over various venues in Tours, including the Epicure Social Club, Le Quartier and The People.
