Just outside Tours, the Bateliers du Cher offer guided tours all year round, departing from Savonnières (up the Cher towards Tours). You'll board traditional 18th and 19th century boats (seating 12) for an hour and a half of discovery. A change of scenery and peace and quiet guaranteed!

At the gates of Tours, the Bateliers du Chers propose you all year long commented strolls (in french only) on the river Cher from Savonnières ( stroll upstream in direction of Tours) 6 people required for a departure. On traditional boats from the 18th and 19th Century get on board of La Charrière Belle Passante for a Discovery stroll. This boat of 12 passengers is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
