Upstream from Tours, board at Rochecorbon and sail down the Loire along the riverbanks for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The highlights of this trip: the light on the Loire, spotting its wildlife, the charm of its islands, and taking in the scenery… When the winds are favorable, the sail is hoisted; otherwise, the motor, oars, or a “bourde” (traditional rowing boat) are used. In any case, part of the route is dedicated to “soft mobility” (without a motor) to better savor the river’s rhythm.
