The Tours Loire Valley Tourist Office and the city of Tours are offering a guided tour of ‘Ancient Tours’.

Founded in the 1^st century, Caesarodunum (Tours) was the Roman capital on the territory of the Turones.

The town was built around what is now Saint-Gatien's Cathedral. This area has preserved some ancient architectural features that reveal the urban development of Tours.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
