The Tourist Office and the City of Tours offer a guided tour of Saint Gatien Cathedral and its neighborhood.

Located around Saint-Gatien Cathedral, this district is one of the oldest in Tours. The site of Caesarodunum in the 1st century A.D., and a Roman capital, it became a religious center under the authority of bishops and then archbishops, while to the west, the Châteauneuf district, born of the pilgrimage of Saint Martin, stood out. This part of the city has preserved some of its earliest architectural features, revealing the urban evolution of Tours.

Reservations must be made in advance at the Tourist Office or online. No sales on site.
