Saturday 21^st and Sunday 22^nd March - To ease yourself into spring, treat yourself to a getaway combining music and heritage in Tours, in the heart of the Loire Valley châteaux.
A weekend to experience the city to the full, including hotel and breakfast, visits to museums and châteaux, culminating in an evening at the Opéra de Tours for the performance of Sibelius, songeur de liberté, followed by dinner.

On the programme:

• Discover Tours, its historic district, museums and banks of the Loire, on foot or by bike (rental included) with the Tours City Pass.
• An evening at the Tours Opera House on Saturday for the performance of Sibelius, Dreamer of Freedom, followed by dinner at a local brasserie.
• Free visit to the châteaux of Villandry and/or Azay-le-Rideau.

• The Tours Opera House, remarkable for its monumental staircase and Italian-style auditorium, inspired by the Opéra Garnier and listed as a historic monument.
• The Camille Claudel exhibition, not to be missed at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Tours.
• A visit to the gardens of Villandry in spring, one of the most famous French gardens.
