The Tours Val de Loire Convention and Visitors Bureau has an Accommodation Unit dedicated to owners of furnished tourist accommodation, bed and breakfasts and people with projects to set up or develop a business. Our service provides you with information throughout the year and will help you with all the formalities.

  Getting your furnished property classified means...
  Benefit from an advantageous tax regime and simplify the calculation of tourist tax.
  Enhance the value of your property, and give your accommodation a level of quality, comfort and services based on national standards.
  Access to labels (La Clef Verte, Accueil Vélo, etc.) and marketing channels (marketplace, Agence Nationale des Chèques-Vacances, etc.).
  Gain visibility: free listing on the Agence Départementale du Tourisme and Comité Régional du Tourisme websites.

  Obtain funding: this is sometimes mandatory when applying for regional subsidies (creation and modernization of tourist accommodation).
  The Tours Val de Loire Convention and Visitors Bureau is accredited by AFNOR to classify furnished tourist accommodation. This designation covers ‘furnished villas, flats or studios, rented in their entirety for the exclusive use of the tenant, on a daily or weekly basis’.

  How to apply for classification
  To obtain information on the classification of meublés de tourisme, please submit your request via the online form: https://www.tours-tourisme.fr/qualification/
  A full information pack will be sent to you by return e-mail.
  If you choose to be classified by the Office de Tourisme & des Congrès Tours Loire Valley, an appointment will be made with the inspector in charge of your file within one month of receipt of your order form, and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you, setting out the details of the classification visit.
  The Tourist Office undertakes to carry out the inspection visit no later than 4 months following your request. This deadline may be extended if you or your representative cancel the appointment.

  Qualifying your B&B means...
  Guarantee the neutrality of the qualification process: “Chambre d'Hôtes Référence®” offers an alternative to owners who do not wish to adhere to a label but want to promote their accommodation. The decision to qualify, after a visit, is made in complete neutrality by a departmental commission.
  Enhance the value of your accommodation, guarantee recognition of its comfort features and provide your customers with the assurance of a quality welcome, services and facilities.
  Reassure customers: guarantee your customers a level of comfort and services based on a national standard.
  Better promote your accommodation and gain visibility: free listing on the websites of the Agence Départementale du Tourisme and the Comité Régional du Tourisme (valdeloire-france.com).
  Obtain funding: an alternative to tourist accommodation labels, enabling you to prove the quality of your establishment, a mandatory condition for all applications for regional subsidies (creation and modernization of tourist accommodation).
  In France, unlike other types of tourist accommodation (campsites, hotels, furnished accommodation, etc.), there is no government-run classification system for guest rooms. “Chambre d'Hôtes Référence®” is the scheme initiated by ADN Tourisme to help develop the quality of these accommodations and offer them an alternative to labels.
