    Day 1:
    Depart Tours for Villandry, this time following the Cher river. On the way, don't miss a visit to the Petrifying Caves of Savonnières.

    Then on to the Château de Villandry and its famous gardens. Before starting your tour, take time out for lunch at the foot of the château at La Doulce Terrasse. You can then head to Azay-le-Rideau for the evening and overnight stay.

    Day 2:
    The morning begins with a visit to the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau. After exploring this gem of the Loire Valley, we return to Tours for lunch at the open-air café in Tours-sur-Loire, with your feet in the water. You can then enjoy the city’s many museums (the Fine Arts Museum, the Compagnonnage Museum, Tours Castle, the CCCOD, etc.) or opt for a cheese tasting at Fromages de Camille.

    Day 1:
    To get the day off to a good start, pick up your picnic prepared by the restaurant Chez Monsieur Henri in Tours, a stone's throw from the bike hire points. You can enjoy it on a beach on the banks of the Loire before heading off to Amboise to visit its royal castle and medieval town. You can enjoy afternoon tea at La Maison Rabelais and even stay there overnight!

    Day 2:
    Your first stop should be Maison Bigot, a renowned establishment that has prepared a packed lunch for you. Then, set off to explore the ‘Ladies’ Castle’, the Château de Chenonceau! Back in Amboise, those with a sweet tooth can enjoy Maison Bigot’s afternoon tea, complete with a view of the château!

    Day 1:
    Make the most of this first day to explore Orléans. On the agenda: a guided tour of the city, a ride on the little train or a boat trip on the Loire, a visit to the Maison Jeanne d’Arc, and lunch at Sushi Shop. Then hop on your bike to explore the Parc Floral de la Source, which has been awarded the ‘Jardin Remarquable’ label. We recommend staying overnight here.

    Day 2:
    Before leaving Orléans, pop into Maison Cordier to pick up your packed lunch. Then head to Meung-sur-Loire and its medieval castle, and Beaugency and its Château de Lumières for an immersion in art and heritage. Overnight stay recommended.

    Day 3:
    Head for the Château de Chambord, François I’s architectural masterpiece. Spend the day visiting the château and its famous grand staircase, strolling through the French formal gardens and even hiking along the paths of the Grande Promenade. An overnight stay is recommended.

    Day 4:
    Head to the Domaine de Chaumont and its famous International Garden Festival. Take the time to enjoy the setting: this year, ‘the garden takes to the silver screen’! You can then head to Blois to return your bike.

    How do I use it?

    • I choose my Pass: 2, 3, 4 or 5 days depending on the route and offers I'm interested in. 1 day is equivalent to 24 hours (e.g. a “2-day Pass” activated on Monday at 12 noon will be valid until Wednesday at 12 noon)
    • During busy periods, I check the availability of bikes with the hire companies in my departure town, in Tours, Amboise, Blois or Orléans.
    • I activate my Pass as soon as the first service is booked.
    • I can take advantage of the Pass offers as I wish.
    • When my Pass expires, I return my bike to the rental shop in my departure town or to one of the three other towns listed.

    To simplify your stay, bikes can be collected and dropped off in Tours, Orléans, Amboise and Blois.
