La Gloriette: the ecological pleasure park
On the edge of the Cher and Petit Cher rivers, with the Loire à Vélo trail running across it, la Gloriette is the largest urban park in the metropolitan area. This site, almost 22 hectares, dedicated to the environment in all its forms and easily accessible by tram, offers a varied line-up. Paper chase, staged readings, creation of a terrarium through up-cycling, family yoga, aromatic plant cooking workshop... Kids will love it and so will their parents!
Garden Escape: Sherlock Holmes pays a visit to the garden
The escape game concept makes a comeback: play the part of a detective in the open air at the Château du Rivau or the Château de Valmer. Enigmas, coded messages, searches for a gardener or a mysteriously-disappeared treasure... It’s up to you!
Château du Rivau: Ages 13 and up on Wednesdays and weekends, €21/person. 3 participants minimum - duration 2 to 3 hours

Grand Aquarium de Touraine: attendant for a day
For a few hours children are fully immersed in the job of aquarium attendant. Morning patrol, preparation and distribution of food, upkeep of pools and explanations on the life and reproduction of marine species: a unique experience that may even lead to professional vocations!
Observatoire de Tauxigny: stars in your eyes
The Tauxigny planetarium offers a fantastic voyage through the universe, with projections on the solar system and the universe. Fridays at 8:30 pm and Sundays at 4:00 pm €5 for adults and €3 for children up to the age of 15.

The Demeure de Ronsard and its gardens provide a great variety of activities and are well suited to family outings. Children can learn poetry with permanent events such as “le cabinet de curiosités poétiques” (the cabinet of poetic curiosities) and the “sac à super poète” (super poet bag) and enjoy creative or artistic workshops while their parents relax on a lounger in the shade of the lime trees.
