Tours through the neighbourhoods - Blanqui Mirabeau
The Tours Val de Loire Tourist Office and the city of Tours are offering a guided tour of the Blanqui - Mirabeau district.
Under the Ancien Régime, the city of Tours developed as its successive city walls were built.
In the 19th century, with the annexation of Saint-Etienne-Extra, the city confirmed its expansion towards the south. The second half of the 19th century was marked by the multiplication of large urban construction sites that met a growing need for housing. Finally, the annexation of the communes of Saint-Symphorien and Sainte-Radegonde, in 1964, enabled the town to expand northwards.
Reservations must be made in advance at the Tourist Office or online. No sales on site.
